Five thousand people expected to visit the UAB in this year's edition of Family Day
On 4 May the UAB will open its doors to future university students and their family and friends in a new edition of the UAB Family Day, a day in which they can visit the campus, its facilities, teaching centres and the Vila Universitària.
This activity is organised once a year on a Saturday morning and this year the UAB has received 1,700 registrations. Some 5,000 people are expected to come and make their first contact with the University on this special day. Approximately one hundred participants (faculty, students and administrative staff) will welcome them and accompany them throughout the day.
There will be guided tours by UAB lecturers to the different faculties and schools on campus. Visitors will be able to discover the classrooms, laboratories, libraries and other academic spaces of each centre. They will also have the opportunity to visit the UAB campus, visit the Vila Universitària residences and get a taste of university life.
